White Out

This summer has been so much fun, I’m so not looking forward towards the cold months ahead in NYC. One of my favorite looks in the summer is wearing all cream or white. If you’re confident enough to wear white, know that you can mix white and cream…don’t get caught it too much in matching it perfectly. Never been a fan of linen, so if you want to wear white on white, just make sure your clothes fit properly and you stay away from anything that might stain your clothing. I know I’ve been a Zara fanatic..but I’m definitely going to give them a serious break!

Neon Lights

My last days of vacation in Charlotte, were great and I know it seems like I was wearing my Leopard wedges out, but they were really comfortable and my neon shift dress is a throw back but always seems to get the most attention because of the color.

Leopard Love

Orange silk blouse: JCrew. Leopard Scarf: Vintage. Army Green Jacket: Michael Kors. Jeans: American Eagle.  Animal Print Sneakers: Coach. Black Head Scarf: throwback from college. Watch: Michael Kors. Python cuff: Aldo. Brown stone ring: H&M. Turquoise ring: Aldo. Belt: Zara. Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters.

Over the week, I visited my family in Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA and it was great being around family and eating that good ol’ southern cooking. Today is my first day back in NJ and I wanted to wear a loose top because I’m still adjusting to waking up early and needed a “relaxed” look. Wearing a head scarf is my favorite option when I don’t feel like styling my hair because it’s cute, quick and stylish.

(Love my cargo jacket, its light with several pockets and a great layering piece)

Blue

Blazer: New York & Company. Plaid Shirt: Abercrombie. Jeans: Gap. Boots: Aldo. Sunglasses: Ray Ban. Earrings: Forever 21

Blue is a color I was never really fond of, I always found myself attracted to tropical colors and rich tones. I really believe your personal style evolves and so it is good embrace change and step outside your comfort zone. I bought this blue plaid shirt because I hardly ever wear plaid or the color blue, so it was perfect. It was beautiful today in NYC, I met up with family to get some seafood and it was delicious! I’m loving the warm weather in NY because as of now it’s not to hot or too cold..just how I like it.

Blue Nail Polish: Revlon Color Stay

I cannot remember the last time I had blue nails, but I dare you to wear something that is out of your “comfort” color scheme or an accessory you have in your closet that’s been sitting there waiting for you to rock out.
