Just one of those days, I call this my sporty, urban chic look. First pair of kicks for fashion and not for sport in years, and with the sneaker wedge trend going on..I couldn’t resist getting a pair! Tiger shirt: Forever 21. Coated leggins: throwback. Sneakers: Nike Dunk Sky High.
OUTFITS
What’s Haute Right Now
This is a form of subtle chic-ness, its not as flashy as most printed pants but has a cool effect to add some spice to your look.
A style boost from the wearing knitted or fur hats, the structure felt lady hat adds that touch of decadence we all need!
A major sexy trend right now, two tone boots are haute, haute HAUTE!!
Creme + Denim
Creme sweater: Gap. Creme fur vest: Joie. Jeans: Zara. Fur boots: Aldo. Jewelry: Asos.com and Michael Kors
Whether its real or fake, fur is always a great choice for winter its luxurious, soft and feels oh so good!
Army Strong
I’m not a New Yorker but I can camouflage myself and blend right on in with a Yankee any day. Maybe its my Bronx roots but I had to buy an all black Yankee hat, being that I’m in NYC… Why not? Camoflage print is a trend making a come back and for some its never left their closet. My laced up boots I’m wearing are over 8 years old! Quality shoes with great care can last for over a decade or more…Quality over Quantity.
Yankee Hat: Eastbay.com. Fur vest: Christmas gift. Pants: Zara. Boots: too long ago. Watch: Michael Kors. Charm bracelet: Juicy Couture. Black Shirt: Forever 21. Rings: Asos.com
Hot Tamales
Today the sky was so clear and the weather was warm, but I chose not to fall for the tricks and treats of NY weather. I’ve mastered exactly how many layers to wear so I don’t break a sweat or get cold. New Yorkers know exactly what temperature is needed to wear winter accessories, no matter what month it is…and they know when to go without a coat for those warm Autumn days. Its quite peculiar, but great because you can rock various styles and layers. Of course wearing a red dress or skirt is always sexy…its pure passion!
Very Simple but Effective Look! Skirt: Zara. Top: Zara. Belt: Gap. Shoes: Bakers.
Falling for You..
Have you ever felt like you was so very close to that very thing you’ve been wanting, but you know you have to wait for it? You know its coming for sure, but the waiting seems like forever. Its like being extremely hungry walking to your favorite eatery only to see a massive line in front of you. There’s so many things that we want for ourselves, but I learned a long time ago, giving to others actually helps you progress as well. Maybe its karma, or maybe the universe sees our goodwill, you can give a smile, great conversation, whatever it is that you have to give can make ALL the difference to someone else. The giving season is coming up! Its my favorite time of year.
Blazer: NY & Company. Plaid shirt: JCrew. Denim jeans: Gap. Boots: Michael Kors. Sunglasses: Gap. Flower accessory: JCrew.
Lace Me Up
It was one of those days where I went to my closets and said to myself, “What to wear, what to wear ?” I love the decision making of getting dressed because it can go from one extreme to another. One day prep the next day flamboyant..boyish or feminine. Fitted or Loose. There’s no right or wrong decision, it’s all about what image I feel like projecting and then of course my daily activities. Today I made the choice of Autumn’s Fall short look with tights, a classic blazer and some swirly tights just for fun!
Blazer: Express. Black tank: Express. Gray short: Forever 21. Black belt: Forever 21. Swirl tights: American Apparel. Suede wedges: Bakers. Bag & Watch: Michael Kors. Sunglassses: Vogue.Shot by Alina Rafalovskaya
Bangin’ Blazer
For those who love to wear white, you can relate to me when I say its cool to wear it year round..summer white or winter white…I wear it as I chose, and I was ready break out this blazer from my closet, because I didn’t wear it all summer. Paired it with some skinny jeans for an all around casual look. Its my typical “Running errands around the city look” my Cole Haan oxfords have cushions built in, but I always add another layer of shoe cushioning because I want to keep my feet soft, knowing my feet and the NYC city streets are always at war with each other.
White blazer: Zara. Blue plaid shirt: Abercrombie. Jeans: Zara. Shoes: Cole Haan. Belt: Gap. Clutch: Aldo. Watch: Michael Kors. Bead Bracelet: Cara NYC. Tiger Ring: Aldo.
